The City of Hollow Rock was in need of a professional sign to welcome visitors into town. We provided this custom built sign complete with a carved graphic depicting the large stone formation for which the town was named after.

Sign faces are constructed of composite material consisting of two sheets of aluminum laminated to a  fiber-plastic core. All lettering is computer-cut cast vinyl with an exterior life of 7 to 10 year. The plaque commemorating the former Mayor is foundry-cast aluminum with raised border and letters. Posts and finials are PVC plastics and painted to match sign panel. All  blue-colored surfaces are finished in a two-part enamel coatings.

Close-up of the hand-carved graphic shows great depth and details in the rendering of the large stone formation by which the town was named. HDU or high density urethane, a dense closed-cell polyurethane foam with exceptional weathering ability is the material of choice for this carved 'rock'. Overall size is approximately 10" tall by 32" wide and 2 1/2" deep, surface is finished in satin exterior latex colors. Total sign width including posts is 59" with a height of  80".
