This concept car was created in 1994 and was a stylized idea of what cars would look like in the near future, and the idea proved to come true, by the year 2000 many cars had body styles similar to this, all I can say that it was a good "guess" on my part to be thinking this far ahead on body styles. The main reason for the auto body creation was to display rubber automotive parts being manufactured by the Colonial Rubber Company in Dyersburg, TN. We illustrated each part in computer/digital format and then created the futuristic auto to show how and where each part was being used to insulate, cover, seal out air and water and to sound-proof automotive bodies. The illustration of the vehicle proved to be quite a challenge, it had to be realistic in style and perspective but yet transparent to show where each part was used. The final artwork was printed as large posters and used in magazine and trade journal advertisements. If your corporation needs a professional artist, just remember, we can take it "From Concept to Completion". |
